Meet Our Recruits

When Cal Poly’s Swimming and Diving Program was cut on March 7, 2025, a promising group of high school recruits were faced with a decision: choose to accept admission to Cal Poly and give up on their dream to compete D1 in college, or scramble to find a new team during their final weeks of high school.

Some in the Cal Poly Recruiting Class of 2025 have made the decision to pursue swimming/diving at other universities — including Iowa State, Seattle University, UC Davis, University of Massachusetts-Amherst, University of Wyoming, and University of Nevada Las Vegas. Others have decided to attend Cal Poly, while continuing to hold onto hope that the program will be reinstated.

    BEST EVENT: 100 BREASTSTROKE
    MAJOR: BUS./ MATERIALS ENG.

Proudest Accomplishment: Going into my Freshman year, I didn’t even have Senior Zones times, but by the end of my sophomore year I had Junior Nationals times. With 3 Head Coaching changes in 2024 I plateaued and struggled to drop time. But I climbed back up again, and by the end of 2024 I renewed a Junior Nationals cut and got more cuts: the 200 breast + some Futures cuts in both the 200/400IM.

Update: Hadley has committed to swim for the University of Wyoming in the Fall.
